Lieutenant Michael McKenzie has been serving the Midway Fire District with dedication and professionalism since 2006. As a Paramedic and ALS Coordinator, he plays a vital role in ensuring the highest level of pre-hospital care for the community. His leadership extends beyond emergency response, as he actively mentors and educates new generations of EMS providers.

With a deep commitment to professional development, Lt. McKenzie holds multiple certifications, including Fire Inspector II, an achievement that made him the first in Midway Fire District’s history to earn this distinction. He has also been an integral part of the Rope Rescue Team since its inception, demonstrating expertise in technical rescue operations.
